First create a folder on the new SSD.
Start Steam.
In the top left corner you'll see 'Steam', click on that, then the 'Settings' button in the box that opens.
In the settings box, click the 'Downloads' option this opens a new pane at the top there's the option 'Steam Library Folders' which opens yet another small pane, there you can navigate to your new drive, select the folder and add it to the list of folders Steam will install to. Once done you'll see that folder along with your main C:/Program, Files(x86)Steam folder in the install locations Steam offers when you begin the install, just select which you want to install to.
You are free to change locations as you wish, I have games on both my C: and E: drives.
