SSD Question regarding playing games on your HDD while on the SSD

Is it possible to play the games you have installed on a HDD storage drive while booted in the SSD, i've been trying to simply click on the application from my HDD but it usually doesn't work and has an error or trys to update. Is there a way to fix this through registry or whatnot.

They need to be installed properly, through the new OS on the SSD. You can designate wherever, but the new OS and its Registry has to know.

How do I make the registry know? or is what your saying is I have to install the game on the new SSD to be able to play it? or is it as simple as making a few registry fixes.

What USAFret is saying is: You need to re-install the games to get them to work. It doesn't matter where you install them, HDD or SSD, you just need to reinstall them so that the installation will change the registry.

Yes, that will work.
When you click on 'Install', you should have the option of where. Select somewhere on the HDD.
