I just started having this problem about 30 minutes ago and decided to come here for a solution.
I've had this SSD for about a year now (Kingston). I never had windows installed on it until recently about a month ago, and it's been working perfectly fine. But recently I replaced my old HDD drive with a newer, faster one and as soon as I plugged in the HDD, my SSD randomly stopped showing up in the BIOS, so I can't boot windows on it anymore. It doesn't even show up in disk manager. I have windows installed on my old HDD, but also on my SSD and was waiting for my new HDD to ship in.
I unplugged my new HDD and plugged in my old HDD to see if it would help. Nothing so far.
My motherboard is a GigaByte GA-990FXA-UD3 and my new HDD is a Western Digital Black WD1003FZEX . Although I'm sure it's not my motherboard.
I never touched my SSD at all after installation, I don't understand why I'm having this problem. Did plugging in my HDD somehow kill my SSD? I don't understand.
