Hi,my ssd died,I think,recently
I had some data on it,and I really want to recover it,however,I can't manage to make it show up in windows
I can't boot from it anymore, but it is still recognised in bios, but that does not help me at all
Do I still have any chance of saving data from it considering bios still sees it?
I did the power cycle, yet it did not help...

EDIT
I managed to recover the data using ubuntu live,as windows wasn't recognizing the drive, and still isn't

Details needed.

What specific drive is this?
Is this the OS drive?
What was the last thing you did before this happened?

For future reference, read this: https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/what-is-your-backup-situation-at-home.2997205/

I MANAGED TO RECOVER THE DATA WITH UBUNTU LIVE
the drive is a patriot burst 1tb
yes,it was the os drive
it was on youtube,nothing unusual
I found it frozen, with the mouse lagging, and upon restarting with the power button,I could only see a black screen
