[SOLVED] SSD removal question

I have a newly built PC where my OS (Win10) and programs are on a 250g Samsung 850 EVO M.2 drive (drive C), and then I have a 250g SSD (drive E) that is for additional storage. The SSD has nothing on it yet, and was not connected until after Windows was installed. I want to replace the SSD with a new 250g Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2 drive that I just got as a gift, so that I can then use the SSD in another PC that we have. My MB (MSI MPG X570 Gaming Pro Carbon Wifi) supports 2 of the M.2 drives, so that part should hopefully not be a problem. However, I'm not sure what steps I need to do in order to replace the SSD with the M.2 drive. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to make this swap? Thanks in advance.
