Yes, it's supposed to replace the existent HDD. As I didn't have the Sata-USB cable, it wasn't possible to do the data migration. But the problem is that when I start the PC with the SSD replacing the HDD, the Bios doesn´t recognize my SSD. Still, I don't want to keep my HDD files so I think I don't need the data migration program. Do I need the SATA cable or can I start my PC with the SSD other way and then install Windows using the CD? In case of a Sata Cable, can you provide me a link?
