I have recently bought a
+GeForce gtx 950 Asus.
+gigabyte ultra durable z170m-D3H mobo
+samsung ssd 950 pro m2
+WD 2T HDD
I'm going to fess up and say. I didn't YouTube how to correctly make bios detect my SSD.
In legacy.
And uefi.
I initially attempted to after very painfully large efforts fail to install any linux os. To either drive.
After much blood sacrifice I was able to at last detect the ssd in to "gparted magic" After and formatted the SSD to correct windows compatibility. Now I cannot detect the m2 drive outside biOS. And it cannot be detected by any OS programs now from ubuntu to win7. I have tried all tutorials on thethe web.
Now I can only detect SSD if bios is set in a way that corrupts my HDD win 7s launch. all all partition rescue or boot disks no longer read or write.
I have changed so many settings to try rescue the SSD I have no idea what I'm doing im bios anymore.
Considering factory reset but iI have tried with mobo and HDD but still cannot affect SSD. Even samsung wizard does not read.
Also factory reset is not easy to find online.
Much help is much appreciated.
