SSD Sata II vs SATA

Would it be worth it to upgrade my motherboard to a SATA II compatible mobo? Then get a SATA II SSD?

Or stick with my SATA mobo and get a SATA SSD?

No dont get a SATA II get a SATA III motherboard.

^ that is expensive and sata3 ssd's are less and really expensive.
