Hello, I am planning on buying an SSD that uses a m.2 2280 slot but my motherboard says that it has only one m.2 slot (doesn't say anything about 2280). Is the "2280" some kind of a standard? Please help me.
x M.2 slot (Key M)1The motherboard I am talking about is the MSI B450-A PRO MAX.
The motherboard I am talking about is the MSI B450-A PRO MAX.2280 means 22mm width, 80mm length.
What motherboard?
You mean I should look for those on the SSD Drive? If yes, the SSD supports NVMe 1.3The more important terms/letters to look for are
NVME (great!)
NVME or SATA (great!)
SATA (no better than a normal SATA drive)
