hi, installed an SSD about a week ago. It's been working fine so far.

is it ok for it to be just using one screw like this?

it's my Patriot Burst 480GB.

indeed, an SSD boots much faster than an HDD. Windows 10 boots so fast now.

Should be fine as I see it.

When the case is stood up the SSD rests on the small lip of the bracket - correct?

And the single screw can be carefully snugged up to prevent the SSD from vibrating up and down off of the lip - correct?

For the most part all you should need to do is keep an eye on the SSD. Mostly to ensure the the power/data cable connection is not loosening up due to vibrations and heat expansion/contraction.

Just my thoughts on the matter.

thanks for the answers, it's pretty much snugged up, steady as a rock, and does not move at all. The case has very little vibrations - mostly from the two fans of the 1050ti, and the stock cpu cooler.

it does not really rest on the lip of the bracket, but slightly elevated from it.
