SSD Set to Main Drive

I recently hard reset my computer and I started to download games and such only to notice that everything downloaded onto my SSD including my "Program Files (x86)" and such. I tried to use SymMover to transfer it over to my 1TB Hard Drive but it simply didn't work. Is there a way i can set it so that when I hard reset my computer it will put all of those on my Hard drive?

Well...for a 256GB SSD, you really do want all your applications on that drive.
That is why we have them...to run things fast. Putting your applications on the HDD negates the purpose of having the SSD.

Large space suckers like games? Those can be installed on a larger HDD.

With Steam games, this is trivially easy.

Thank you very much. I didn't exactly understand much about SSD and HDD and you really helped.
