SSD setup and boot

Hello, I've never installed more than one storage device on my computer before and now I bought a SSD drive. This is my question: My HD drive which is my main drive and I currently use it has all of my stuff on it. Lets say I install the SSD, and install windows 10 on it and then configure my computer to boot off of the SSD. When my computer boots up will I still see my desktop with all the Icons from my HD drive or will I see an all new desktop with no icons much like if you just wiped your hard drive?

You won't see anything since it is a fresh new windows. I suggest you back up all your files from your HDD and clone it to your SSD so that you dont have to reinstall windows 10.

If you clone system from HDD to SSD, you'll see your old desktop.
If you do clean install on SSD, you'll see clean default desktop.
