Hi,
I was thinking of buying a ssd as i already got good pc specs and want to make my windows a bit faster.
I was wondering if its worth buying a ssd on a sata 2 connection because i heard that the speed drops by half from the sata 3 ones.
If it is worth it what size should i get considering that i already have a 1tb hdd in my pc and im a bit tight on cash.
Thanks.

Does your board not support SATA3? Any SSD is still a big upgrade from a HDD, even on SATA2. All you need for an SSD is enough to store OS and programs, especially when you have a separate HDD to hold files. 120GB or so is a fair size for that.
