My mom has an 10 years old computer, but it used to run well. She mainly just watches YouTube on it so she dosen't need a very powerful PC.
Recently it has some problem with SSD. It tooks about 1 min to show desktop. Sometimes won't boot at all.
I changed sata cable to another port on MB, problem solved for few days. Works fine. But after that it getting slow again. I have to change it to another port.
What may causes this problem?

CPU: E3 1230 V2
Motherboard: Asus B75
Ram: 16GB DDR3
SSD/HDD: 2T SSD
GPU: GTX 1080
PSU: 600W
Chassis:
OS: Win 10 64bit
Monitor: Philip 32"

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

What may causes this problem?
Corruption in your OS. PSU unable to power your platform. CPU overheating. Ram probably going bad. SSD might be failing.

Thank you for reply. System is recently re-installed, also cleaned all dust from fans. Might be the SSD itself broken. But I don't have spare part to test. Will but her new one if it keep getting worse.

GTX 1080 - just for watching youtube. LOL

My bet is on failing SSD.
What error do you get, when it doesn't boot to windows?
What model SSD?
Check the drive with SSD manufacturer specific SSD tool.
Yup, it was mine until I upgraded to 2070s.
No error, just getting horribly slow. Usually SSD only take 20 seconds to show desktop at most. But for now, this PC usually take 1 minute. Sometimes completely stuck at booting screen. Then I have to change SATA cable to another port to fix it.
I tried scan for errors but no results. But just after about a week, the problem shows up again. That's the weirdest part.
