About a week ago(on feb 10th), I built a new system with a Patriot Pyro 120g SSD. When I installed windows, after enabling trim support, my WEI scores were all 7.9, with the exception of my CPU, which was a 7.6. After having some issues with my video card, I RMA'd it and replaced it with a slightly higher performance card. When I reran the WEI benchmark, the score for my hard drive fell to 7.7.
Using ATTO HD benchmark, I'm still reaching 550mb/s read, and about 520mb/sec write speeds, but I'm wondering what could have caused the windows performance of my SSD to drop, or am I being paranoid and should just ignore it.
The drive hasn't been defragmented, has 92.5/111 formatted gigs free space, and I've set any temp files to go to my data drive to save excess writing on the SSD.
Here are the complete system specs: i5 2500k oc'd to 4500, Asus p8z68 V LE mobo, Patriot Pyro 120g SSD boot drive, 500g Seagate barracude 6.0g/s data drive, Antec HCG 750 PSU, G Skill 1.5v 9-9-9-24 1600 ram, GTX 570 Supeclocked video card(replaced a gtx 560ti 448 core).
