Question SSD Speed

I Have a H61m-S2P motherboard that supports up to third generation from intel processors and i want to buy an ssd but i heard that with this old motherboard i will not be able to use full speed of the ssd and i dont know if this information right or wrong so i need an answer before i buy one

All current SATA SSDs are SATA III.
Your system has a SATA II interface.

The "full speed" is mostly irrelevant.
A SATA III drive is still miles faster and more responsive than whatever HDD you have in there now.
