As the title says, i keep getting this message before bios; The ssd is seen and will boot to windows just fine. I have a asus P6X58 e pro mobo and a mushkin 120gb ssd. It is correctly set to AHCI; i have looked through and see others with the same issues but most are resolved by using the intel 6gb/s sata rather than the marvell one. Problem is i only have one 6gb/s sata and its a marvell, so what can i do?

Thanks in advance.

then I would probably use IDE mode if it's Marvell, you will lose a bit of performance ( synthetic benchmark-wise ).

Although I'm not sure if TRIM will be active and working, as I know Intel gives problems with that, unlike AMD which requires no configuring....but I think that is a matter of the controller, so if it is Marvell it should be fine in IDE...

but you say windows boots just fine...

I would run ATTO , to check performance, if it's similar to new, then TRIM is working,
also check in cmd prompt,

Whether trim is working should be your real concern
