I was playing a game, the game stopped working, and my PC shut off. I tried to reboot, and the SSD isn't found in the bios. There is a light that is on, on the SSD, so I'm not sure if it's broke or what. Help?
If you can't even find it in BIOS it's likely dead.
Can try remove it and use in a HDD bay to see if an OS can pick it up, otherwise it's warranty time.
1. Try a different SATA data cable.
2. Try a different SATA port.
3. Try a different SATA power connector.
4. Try that drive in a different system or USB dock
any other suggestions or do you just think it's dead? :/ like I said, when both plugs are plugged into the SSD, there is a light I can see that is on inside of the inputs. Or can this just be from the cable?

That may just mean its getting power. It still might not work.
Did you try the steps above?
