So yesterday I tried to turn on my computer without success. No signal at all was going to the monitor. After further investigation and tests I discovered that when I unplug my SSD which contains my operating system, the computer starts booting again. Naturally it does not go anywhere as there is no system anywhere, but it boots. My question is, what most likely happened to the SSD and why does it stop even the bios from booting up? My friend tried plugging the SSD into his computer but he says it stops his computer from booting as well. He also tried plugging it in as an external hard drive but the computer fails to see it at all. Is there any way to fix the SSD? Is it corrupted or completely fried? Thanks. Also the SSD is an OCZ vertex plus+.
