I only have 250GB of SSD and only want to put some games in it, what will I have to do if that game is associated with steam or origin? would I have to install both the game and those programs that are associated with the game on to my SSD or can I put the associate program to my HDD and the game to my SSD?
please give me a step by step process if its possible to do the later option
Thank you in advance

Solution
Steam has a built in Library feature allowing you to install games on either drive. You are asked when you install a game to pick a location.

You can also see it within the steam settings.

You can use this guide as well for games that are already installed in one location or another.
