Ssd to hdd

Is there a way to get my os onto my ssd from my hdd without moving any other files over because i dont have enough space to move everything over?

grab a usb drive (at least 8GB). and download this tool here and "install for another computer". choose usb. insert the drive. make sure its empty. coz it will erase everything in your drive.

shutdown. attach your SSD to your SATA cable. ONLY your SSD. detach your HDD during the windows install. boot up. press f8 and select the usb.
delete all partitions. format. install. this will automatically restart to your SSD with your fresh instlall of windows.

shutdown. reattach your HDD. boot up. you can delete partitions there on your HDD from your old windows install thru the Disk Management. and merge them as your new "data" drive partition.

Please don't do this. There are a million reasons not to. The best thing for you to do is to back up your data files, do a clean install of the OS to your new SSD, then wipe the old HDD to use as your new data drive. You will have to reinstall your applications onto the new SSD, but there are many, many advantages to starting over like this. It is worth the time you spend on it.
