A while ago i bought a 240gb ssd for my computer which i planned installed my OS on but when i installed it i noticed that it would not come up in my computer, however it would appear in device manager but all the storage is shown as Unallocated (http://imgur.com/a/95FPG - as shown in this image). If anyone could telll me how to fix this it would be great. And i am currently running windows 10 if that is any help.

Solution
Just right click on the main display bar for the SSD drive in device manager and select format drive.
Select the type of disk, Basic, or the format type of the disk NTFS or GPT.

Once done.

Right click on the small window that says disk one, and check to see if the drive is online.
If not, simply select the online option for the drive from the pull down menu when right clicking on the Disk 1 window with the mouse.

Restart the system, and the SSD drive will then show in windows file explorer.
