Recently the HDD in my Lenovo Ideapad 330-15ICH has starred to get a bit slow and on occasions if I bring up task manager it's shows the disk usage at 100% for a up to a few minutes at a time even when I've got nothing open.

I discovered that the laptop has an M2 slot on the motherboard so I'm planning to get one and move Windows 10 and any regularly used programs over to it and use the original HDD as storage.

I've looked at the WD Black SN750 1TB which seems to be very highly regarded and is a decent price on overclockers right now. My main question is will this older laptop be able to utilise the full read/write speeds of the drive or would I be better to buy a cheaper drive with lower speeds? If so is there a particular SSD anyone would recommend? Don't want to spend much more than £120.

The processor is an i5 8300H and it's running 12gb of DDR4 (4gb soldered and 8gb I added when I bought it) if any of that helps. Any advice would be greatly appreciated guys. Thanks in advance.
