I was wondering if I should save up a few hundred bucks and get at GTX 1070 in or around late January or early February or buy an SSD now. Currently I'm running an i5-6600k with a Sapphire Nitro 380x, and it's giving me pretty respectable performance but I've been running into some issues running games like Star Citizen. I'm playing at 1080p(Games like FO4, GTAV, Rainbow Six, etc.) but hopefully in the future I'll upgrade to 1440p. Just wanted to know what my best option is here.

Probably should get the 1070. You will definitely feel the difference. If you don't mind turning down some settings for the games the 380X are struggling at, then you can get the SSD. SSDs do give a huge improvement in load time.
