I currently use 250gb SSD for my Windows system and some games, but nowadays they can take even up to 40/50gb and I quickly run out of Disk space.

Is it a good idea to move some of them to my 1tb HDD ? If so, what type of games are best to download to HDD vs SSD ?

Solution
Yes, that's pretty much the norm for most with a smaller SSD.

You should really keep only the OS on the SSD. Yes, it's great having some games load faster, but when you fill an SSD and it gets even 75% full capacity the drives actually slow down.

I've a similar set up. All games, data, apps on HDD only OS on SSD. SSD will stay snappy like that.

All my clients - Steam/Origin/Battlenet/Photos/Videos etc are on the HDD.
