So like most people, I usually run my operating system off a SSD, then have a much larger capacity HDD for storage. Would it be bad to have just SSD's for constant gaming and storage? Does reading and writing to a SSD really going to kill the life of the SSD, or is that a myth? I was thinking about getting a 1tb SSD instead, but if this isn't wise I wont.

You should have no problem with a Good SSD.... But avoid the Cheap SAMSUNG SSDs (the 960 etc).. Something to do with longer lasting/Shorter lifespan MLC vs TLC SSDs.

Go for a PRO if anything.
