SSD vs M2./NGFF vs Asus RaidR

I need a bigger boot drive my MB can use the New M.2/NGFF SSD's I also have an extra 8x PCIe Slot for something like a Asus RaidR Express money is not an issue if I will get more speed figured I would ask for some input.

While you might have an open x8 pcie slot, do you have 8 pcie lane to spare? AMD systems typically have 36-40 pcie lanes while 1150 & 1155 cpus typically only have 16.

If you have lanes to spare for the raidr go ahead and get it. otherwise I would go with just an SSD as it will definitely be transferable to the next pc.
