Question SSD Will not show on ECS BIOS

So I recently got my hands on a an old SSD and my motherboard doesn't see it as present. I checked different SATA ports, they all work, used different cables cables still no help and I changed my SATA settings to IDE from AHCI also no help there. Any ideas on how can I fix it?

My Specs:
Motherboard: ECS H61H2-MV
CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 @ 3.60 GHz
Operating System: Pop!_OS 20.10 5.11.0-7614-generic x86_64
RAM: Kingston DDR3 8gb

Was the ssd known to be working before you got it? Might need to install or update the drivers.

Yeah, it even worked for like 5 mins when I first installed it. But doesn't now.

The SSD is Sandisk ssd x300 sata 2.5 256gb opal and never thought of that before will try, thx!

I tested it on a another pc I could see it in the BOIS settings but couldnt interact with it in any way and also wasnt showing up in Linux.
