Question Ssd with fresh windows doesnt boot

Hi
I have recently bought a new ssd
I installed a fresh win 7 on it but after the install process wad completed the pc didnt succeed to load from the new ssd (the original hdd was not connected and i have changed the bios so it tried to load from the new ssd)
The error message was: a disk error occured press ctrl alt del.

Are you trying to install the OS onto an SSD on a laptop or a desktop? In either case, were you on the latest BIOS update for your platform? We'll also need to know what the make and model of the SSD is. Lastly, where did you source the installer for Windows 7?

How do i know if i need to upgrade my bios?
The ssd model is silicon power 500gb
I have installed win 7 from an original installation cd
