SSD wont work in AHCI, but it did before

Hello,
when i first got my SSD, its a OCz agility 3, it installed on my laptop fine under AHCI. Now when i go to install it it it boots the windows disk but when windows retsrats itself to do part of the OS install it hangs up at press any key to boot a cd or dvd. i tried the regedit thing and i cant get anything to work. i just dont understand how it worked before but not now. any help would be great.

i had a similar problem, try doing a secure erase before re-installing windows.
