Hello, i've got a very frustrating issue(s).
I recently made a new build (fx 4350, gtx 760 192-bit, m5a97 pro and a crucial 275GB ssd.
Previously, i had notebook with that ssd. I just pulled it out, connected to that mobo and it worked without any setup from my side(only needed to wipe amd drivers, since it was a pure amd notebook, and get nvidias).
After few days of use, a odd problem that i used to have with the notebook appeared. It occasionally froze forever, requiring to disconnect battery and boot back up. That problem reappered even with a new build.
I suspect it is the drive, but cannot perform a clean install, as it is my only working drive, and when i try to reinstall OS while keeping files I always get a message stating that it cannot be done, with no explanation.
Recently, that problem became less often, but another showed up - when browsing, it would "lag" for about half minute; allowing me to only move with mouse and hearing audio. If i let task manager running, and check back the graphs, i see that my ssd was working at 100% for that time.
But, i have it running in IDE (on the notebook, it was in AHCI, as well as some time after the build was finished. I do not recall why, but it may be possible that i once got a BSoD stating "inaccessible boot device", which i now get always when i try to run in ahci.
If i try to work with regedit, in storahci, "start" was always set to 0, as well as with "IaStorV"
Bios and ssd firmware as well as the control software for that ssd is up to date.
