with the newer bios out there you sometimes have to turn on leagacy boot and efi boot for sata devices to have some ssd boot as the ssd. it depends on the ssd firmware and how the mb reads it. also on any drive that going to be windows boot drive the drive has to be blank with no partions. the system restore and data partion have to be on the boot drive. in the newer mb you see under hard drive windows boot manager that is gooing to look for the boot files in the system restore folder.
