Hi, I'm new to Tom's hardware.

Just wanted to buy a new AMD Ryzen 5 2400g cpu but I got many reviews that it will not work properly with low end motherboards as new bios would be required or the bios needs to be updated.

If you have upgraded to the new ryzen 5 cpu, please recommend a ATX motherboard for ~ $100-150 range which would be stable.

I have looked into these motherboards with 320 or 450 in their model names (don't know why 320/450 is written anyways, duh)

ASUS EX-A320M Gaming AMD Motherboard

MSI A320M-A PRO MAX / MSI A320M Pro VD-Plus

Asus ROG STRIX B450-F / MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX

first of all why 2400g?
If you have a gpu,you would be much better with a cpu without integrated graphics.
Anyway,if i were you i would get a B550 board. It has more features, while being better for future proofing that both A320 or B450.Also if you didnt know A320 and B450 (and much more) are motherboard chipsets.Bassically newer chipsets have newer features, such as B550 and they can be found for the same price as B450 (in the 100-150$ budget). Also they dont need a bios update for both 2nd and 3rd gen ryzen processors.Heres are some good B550 ones:
-ASUS Prime B550M-A Wifi (150$)
-MSI MAG B550M Mortar (around 150$)
-ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming 4 (130$)
-Gigabyte B550 GAMING X (140$)
-ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming 4/ac (145$)
-MSI B550-A PRO...
