Streaming video is easy to do over wi-fi but when it comes to games even when your a short distance away it can give you major high latency. For some reason back in 2014 I got great WiFi in my room the suddenly my room became a dead zone and it could of been anything really that started to get in the way if the signal for me.

I now use WiFi extender boxes so I directly link my pc upstairs to my virgin box downstairs.

I do get a bit of high ping on the occasion on BF1 and rising storm but really thats down to their servers.

You could try contacting you interest...

Could it be a server issue? Can you try another region? Sometimes the problem isn't local.

Have you reset your router and modem? Unplug both of them and completely disconnect them from everything. When you plug them back in immediately press the rest button on the back of each()unless you have a router/modem combo. That of course only has one button to reset. This will reset any user changes such as passwords, port forward changes, MAC filters or anything the user has changed. Changes! Okay, that song will be stuck in my head. If Windows remembers your password and SSID Windows will need to be schooled again.

Traffic is what traffic does.

You could try contacting you interest provider as I remember when overwatch had a terrible and I told virgin who the contacted Blizzard who then found out that one of the middle men server companies was having a really high ping so was dragging everyones ping up.

Just contact the internet provider then wait a week and if that doesn't work get a WiFi extender to plug into your pc
