Stable Temps for i5-3570k?

So my new build is running great so I thought I would oc it a little. Right now it is running at 4.3 GHz on a stock fan. It idles at ~60c and when playing crysis on ultra it got to ~74c (Never above 75c). Will the CPU be fine for ~6 years at these temperatures? My old 3.1 GHz Centino played at ~85c for 3 years and it is still running fine...

My Intel stock fan was DOA, so I installed a Hyper 212+ and I idle at 35c, haven't had a chance to use it much, brandy new.

Still wondering. I just heard it should never go above 80c to be 24/7 stable. Is this true?

I have run my Intel® Core™ i5-3570K just over 80c stable for a 24/7 overclock. I would stay away from high 80s or above.

I consider anything over 70c too hot. I would address the issue by installing an aftermarket fan.

A good cooler for inexpensive price is Coolermaster hyper 212 evo.

It seems my PC now idles at around 45c so I am happy.
