I am at the part where there is a Scientist naked Sakharov and he is in a bunker.

Anyway I got into him and got a mission to get a pda. Now I have retrieved that PDA but around the bunker the alarm is always on which means the bunker door doesn't open.

There are no zombies around the bunker.

Now I have heard people say shoot one of the stalkers and that fixes it but the thing is all the bunker stalkers died in the first 2 minutes when the zombies first came.

Also the alarm alarms when zombies are in the area but I have heard people say clear the whole map of zombies but that sounds impossible because they spawn up at the factory every couple of minutes.

So does just the bunker area have to be zombie free or the whole sector which includes the whole factory.

just leave 1s you have the pda. the locked door needs a code which you will get later.
or if your in the place where i think you are then you need to look for a scientist corpse in an orange suit .. also check your map and make sure theres no white markers that you havent visited.

1 will be the locked door the other should be the scientist with the code. if the white dot is a triangle then you need to go up or down a level to find it.

btw your save should be called after what ever mission your on or check your pda to get the name of the mission. this will help us be more precise in giving the right location... or if you can be bothered check out the walkthough on ign

Hah no none of that fits where I am at. Alright its the first time in clear sky that you run into the Zombies and Sakharov wants you to pick the pda up from behind the factory which it is easy to get but there are those weird anomaly dogs that when you shoot them they disappear.

See here is another person with this bug.

You see its the alarm that won't turn off even though I have killed the Zombies in the area.

im pretty sure its just for the zombies. they can be anywhere in the swamp and should be highlighted on your pda as red dots. make sure you get em all. and the alarm should stop... there are 2 entrances to the compound so check both sides.
if you cant find the last 1. leave the map and immediate return the lost zombies should appear

Ha I killed every Zombie on the entire map yantar and still the alarm was going.

I have given up on stalker I mean I have only got this far and ran into more bugs than all the game bugs previously combined.

Also my stalker is patched to the final patch and also I have tried bug reducing mods but they don't help much.

Looks like I will be looking for a game that is playable I mean I can emulate PS2 games and they run less buggy than stalker for Christ sakes,

Well the last patch they made was patch 10 and thats what I have patched up to. I don't care anymore because I have stopped playing it and am going to finally finish Fallout New Vegas you know a game that is in my experience bug free.

After patch 10 there is this community patch which made the game stable and without bug as far as I know playing this game way back. Try reloading the game again and go back to Duty's place or Garbage and save, load back and return to Yantar see if the door to the bunker might open or better yet load the autosaved file and just pick up from there.

If you are experiencing massive lags then this is the fix. People with Nvidia cards will be suffering a lot here. Here are the steps to improve FPS by about 80 FPS:
1) Ensure that you have the newest GPU drivers. (Start>Search>"Nvidia">Geforce Experience>(In program)Second tab)
2) Turn on administrator mode, Windows 7 compatibility mode and turn off fullscreen optimalization. (Right click your icon and go into properties. Then Compatibility, the third tab. Turn on Compatibility mode for Windows 7 and tick both of the options on the bottom.)
3) Turn off DVR, game mode and game bar. (Start>Search>"Settings">Gaming. Then on all tabs turn everything off. You won't be needing DVR as you have Shadowplay, game mode doesn't help FPS (tends to do the opposite for most games). The game bar may be important to you if you use it, but turn it off for now. Later on if you fix the problem you can try to turn it back on.
4) Set your GPU as the default PhysX processor. (Right click on your desktop, then click the Nvidia control panel. In 3D settings select "Configure Surround function, PhysX" and set the Processor to your graphics card. Don't forget to click "set/save" on the bottom right.) Leave this panel open.
5) Set your Nvidia game options as specified by me. (In 3D settings select manage 3D settings. Then choose program options. You may have to run the game so that is shows in number 1.. Select one of the four stalker games. Set the following: Power managment mode - Prefer maximum. Tripple buggering - Off, Threaded optimization - On, Vertical VSync - Off.)
6) You can now close that. Now set your power managment on your computer. (Start>Search>"Edit Power plan" or Start>Search>"Control Panel">Sound and Devices>Power options. In there set it to high performance.)
7) Restart your PC. After try turning one of the games on, IF YOU GET NORMAL FPS, DO NOT DO THE FOLLOWING STEP. Otherwise if the problem continues turn on debugging mode for your GPU. (Right click on your desktop, then click the Nvivia control panel once again. Then Help>Debbuging mode (On) and Help>Allow (The one below that one)... (On).)
8) Now once again run the game. If the issue still persists for you guys, just pm me with the following stuff:
-system utility (Win+R>msinfo32 or Start>Search>"msconfig32". Then click File>Save As and send me it in a PM.)
-Nvidia system info file. (Right click your desktop. Nvidia panel once again... (System info (bottom left corner) and then save that and also send it to me.)

I will be making a tutorial on this for youtube soon. So if you do not understand this then wait for that.
