I made my own test bed out of plexiglass.

For the stand offs, I used bolts, this is the order from bottom up:

Bolt>plexiglass>nut>nut>motherboard>nut.

Will this work fine or do they need to be grounded or something?

Solution
For testing i see no reason for it not work. The board has many grounds running to the power supply already.

This is surly no worse than testing a board on the box it came in(something many users do).

If you are worried, you can solder a wire from bolt to bolt under the plexiglass and then tie it all to the power supply case with a screw. I do not think you HAVE to, but if it makes you feel better.

I was just reading that as you answered.

It appears it is grounded to the PSU from he 20pin connector.

I'm not sure I'm going to be using a GPU, I might rent it out as a Minecraft server.
