As I test and troubleshoot motherboards I put an unused ATX case really close so I can use the power, reset, power LED and HDD LED front panel headers/cables. Obviously this is getting annoying. Is there anything out there that's smaller, more mobile, like standalone for front panel headers?

Thanks everyone for your help on this. I went with this front panel header replacement kit, http://a.co/6JnmzVD. Does not have a nice lil' housing as I wanted, but otherwise has all the function I was looking for.

I also found one from StarTech (they always have these weird, obscure widgets, should've checked them first): https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811993022.

Also found this front panel kit in a 5.25" bay, but it would be too big for my small workbench area: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5-25-front-Bay-Module-with-USB-Port-LED-Reset-Button-Power-Switch-ECR9400USB-/191292686504

Hopefully that helps someone

For the power switch and reset switch pins, you can just touch them with a small flat headed screw driver to switch on or reset the computer, the only ones that would need a header plugged into them is LEDs, like hard drive and power LED.

Or you can easily make your own, if you have an old case anywhere, just cut the old front panel wires out, i used one of those without the switch on it for a clear cmos jumper on a motherboard that had the jumper in a very awkward place, plugged that in and to clear the cmos, just touched the 2 ends of the wire together.
