Standoff screws won't screw all the way in.

I'm putting together my PC but went I went to install it in my case, the screw won't screw all the way into the standoff and therefor the mobo wiggles around and isn't secured. I tried all 3 screw types that came with the case and they all don't work. The screw turns in to a certain point when all that happens after that is the standoff itself is being turned by the screwdriver. Already stripped one hole on the case because the standoff was overscrewed. The manual that came with the mobo has NOTHING on installing the mobo into the case. Mobo is an ASRock H97 Pro4 and case is the Rosewill Galaxy-02.

It's possible they packed the wrong screws at the factory. Most standoffs are either 6/32 at both ends or M3 at both ends if metric, or M3 male and 6/32 female.. and 1/4" standoff height. If you can find out what yours takes, you can pick up some replacements at Newegg or Amazon if you don't want to wait for RMAing the case. See if one standoff will screw into another standoff. That will at least tell you if both ends are the same.

Thanks for the reply, I figured it out a while ago though. There were two types of screws that looked identical except one had larger threads. The one with smaller threads was the one that worked. Computer is booted up and installing Windows atm.
