Stange issue that just came up

I was watching a stream on twitch and when I sat up to get something to drink and my monitor went into sleep mode. I looked into my case through the plastic window and saw the light was red meaning it's not working right. I also heard in my wireless headset that it turned off, even though it was at full charge. I then realized that my front USB ports were not working I checked the back ones and it was all fine back there. I can only think the way those two are connected by either Motherboard or power supply is failing. Has anyone else had this issue before or something similar?

Isn't this just a power saving feature of your motherboard? Disabling power to some peripherals when in sleep mode. I'm sure that's it - check your motherboard user manual.
