stange sound problem

Hi i have an question, every time whem i plug in my headphones in my pc i need to go to playback devices and turn off my speakers and turn on my headphones but why doesnt this go automaticly. my system specs are Intel i7 3770k, corsair h100i, asrock z77, proffesional-m, Xfx hd 7950, xfx pro 550watt, thanks

think somewhere in the realtek software theres an option to auto detect when you plug something in

but i spent 2 hours today with it refusing to output to my speakers it would only do the tinny monitor speakers

in the end i uninstalled the realtek software and restarted pc and it all worked fine

sorry for the late reaction, but when i instal it my audio doesn't work at all
