Staples relay flash drive not working

Hello,
I have a 2GB Staples Relay Flash drive and i plugged it into my computer and nothing happened. I haven't done any type of destruction to it. It just stopped working. Please help it has important assignments on it.

Unfortunatly flash drives can and do fail without any apparent reason.
