Star citizen is very slow

So here is the deal star citizen is running so slow my processor is intel i5-4670k and my graphics card is Nvidia geforce 780 oc. I turned all of my settings on low and when i playing i would get 40-50 fps and then suddenly it ould drop to 1,2 fps all of a sudden and just freezes. If someone could help me fix this problem that would be great.

Since Star Citizen is still in BETA, driver, bugs, optimization, and coding all need refinement. I'd be keeping a log and seeing what the screen action is when the drops happen. That would help focus on the general area of the problem.

Driver compatibility could be a problem then. How much memory do you have 4Gb? That would likely not be enough.

Ram is 16GB i have 2tb hdd and 250 sdd

Good. You system seems stong enough, so I'm sure the problem is a software one, either drivers or optimization. What do others with a similar configuration report?
