Hi there,
been having really hard times playing games with my a6-5400k even at 800x600 resolution... playing this game I get 20 fps at min and 30 at most (yes, at this resolution - I use fraps). I don't know why this happens. I've just updated the bios, but nothing changed.
come on, there's people who can run skyrim at 1080p with this freakin cpu and I can't even play games at minecraft-like resolutions...

my motherboard is a MSI FM2-A75IA-E53, bought 2 weeks ago... some said that by upgrading to the a85x chipset the problem was fixed, but how can I be sure this is my case too? it's really frustrating... I would be happy with playing games at just the humble resolution of 1280x800..

after complaining a bit, do you know how to change the video settings for this game? when I start the launcher, it opens up a window where you can change the resolution, input devices you want to use to play and the control settings.. there's no in-game video settings menu. it seems to me that AA is on.. there is like a light blur around edges and I wonder if that is what slows down graphics performance, though I know that it shouldn't happen at the rock age resolution of 800x600, I guess.. please help!

My answer disapeard so will have to re-write everything.

It´s not your pc. The game is buggy, one of the bugs is that when your character has clothes that move according to the action (wind, movement, contact) it will slow down the fps regardless of system specs, the first mission with Vader is a perfect example, it´s Vader´s cape that is slwoing, there is nothing you can do, so do it just the way it is. After this you´ll be playiong with Starkiller, make sure he´s not wearing cloths that move, use cloths that stick to the body.

Choppy video, watch them online.

I see... I'm downloading the update patch. Maybe it is gonna fix it... or maybe make it a bit better hopefully

Ok, I updated the bios, downloaded the game update patch.
I also unchecked the high detail option and now I can play the game at 1080p at stable 30fps.. I don't know what fixed it, but it's now perfect..

I read that doesn't matter the hardware you have you'll always get 30 fps in this game, so I'm happy with it.. i'll try to fix the stuttering in battlefield 3 now... at least I hope so..

thanks for your help
