It's a great time to be alive for VR fans. Even the Vive and Oculus Rift are mind-blowing for home VR, but Starbreeze should be able to deliver a much more capable, and more expensive, product for VR facilities. I look forward to VR adventures with tracked props so you can feel objects like a captain's chair and control system in VR.

The only downside of this announcement is that if the format catches on, it won't be free & open. I just hope their licensing model doesn't kill it in its infancy.
