I find it ridiculous that anybody would pay $150 to go to BlizzCon. I find it even more ridiculous that anybody would pay $40 to watch in on their frickin television.

Well technically it's great idea to grab tickets if you can as they are worth so much more than $150 when sold online. Believe some tickets hit over $800 last year.

Course it is also technically illegal...

Nooooo I don't want SC2 beta to end i'm having so much fun; Oh well ive been waiting over 10 years whats another 2 more months 😛

People do it with concert tickets and sports tickets all the time. Can't tell you how many times I've had to look up concert tickets on web sites made for ticket resale. Is it a blizzard thing that makes it illegal? What if you can't go, is it illegal to sell the tickets then?

Surprising that they are ending the beta May 31st considering they haven't opened up testing to 3v3 or 4v4. The more people, the more issues. I figured they would have unlocked the 3v3 and 4v4 maps at let us test them for at least a couple of weeks. Very surprising.

At least they finally made an attempt to put a stop to the ridiculous cannon rushing. Never seen something so stupid.

Blizcon lasts 2 days and has much more then just a few power points and a costume contest. There's a lot more entertainment and of coarse a great look at all the up coming games.

I've paid a lot more for 2-3 days of music (Bonnaroo and lollapalooza). So to say $150 is ridiculous is simply not true.

[citation][nom]manitoublack[/nom]$150 large for a ticket to listen to Blizzard beat its own drum. I'll pass[/citation]

I agree, $150.000 seems slightly excessive.

Should not be illegal. This just follows the law of supply and demand.

I think it's a bad idea for them to push this game out to July 27th because there's so many legit and pirate betas out there already. I'm wondering how well this product will even sell. Plus not a hint of a drop in price. I'd be hard pressed on this one. It should have been 29.99. They would sell more units and make more money. But what do I know anyways 😉

For all the peeps that cry you didn't get a beta key... it was advertised all over the net, and even here at Tom's, that you got a free beta pass when you pre-ordred the game. That is how I got my beta pass, more than a month ago...

You forget that they had Ozzy Osbourne for the closing act last year at BlizzCon. So maybe they have something to top that this year. I would hope so at $150 a ticket.

Well if the pre-orders for SC2 at my local Gamestop is a factor. Very well. Over one hundred and its in a small town.

I wonder how much the game itself will sell... But the bigger question is after such a long wait, will it be worth it?

If only people could read.
