Thanks br d, I really appreciate the well wishes. Matrix has
the game available for purchase via direct download and CD-
on-demand as of today. Boxed versions won't be available
until next month I'm afraid, which is a bit of a shame as the
box art is rather cool.

Sorry 'bout this, but it looks as those I need some help early on here!
I've been trying out the training runs in the demo. Got through the first
one. In the second one (taking off, landing, etc) I get through the 5th nav
point, request landing permission, etc, but now my vehicle is almost
impossible to turn, etc. Very difficult to maneuver back to the airfield
and land. What am I doing wrong?

I had the same problem. Make sure to turn off auto-navigation, and keep
your airspeed up around 300.

I don't know for sure. One possibility is that your throttle is being
set to zero after the autonav program completes the 5th and last
navpoint. You may need to push the throttle up by pressing the A
key, using the mouse scroll wheel, or using your joystick throttle.

Another possibility is that you are unconciously trying to use a
"flat" yaw turn in the atmosphere as if you were in space. If you
are using the standard flight model, you need to perform a "co-
ordinated" turn by combining roll and pitch, just like a real-world
airplane would do.

Which version of the game are you playing? What controls are
you using to steer (i.e. keyboard, mouse, joystick, or gamepad)?

Thanks,

Hmmm...I'll try those tips out. Thanks!
I'm using the most recent demo version, with a joystick.
