Question Start Menu crashing and Search not working ?

Hello,
Since I upgraded from Windows 10, I've had this frustrating issue:
The blue Start Menu button is sometimes unresponsive, and when the Start Menu is open, it usually closes by itself after a few seconds and cannot reopen for about 10-20 seconds.
Additionally, clicking the adjacent search button does nothing at all. The search function in Windows Explorer also doesn't seem to do anything at all.

I have tried creating a fresh account and reinstalling Windows 11, but neither of those made a difference. I have also tried "sfc /scannow" but it says everything is fine somehow.

I'd appreciate any help or suggestions on this, as I cannot live without a working Start Menu or search functionality!

was that a clean install?
I found when i updated to 7 to 10 some things didn't work right, but a clean install made everything better as I didn't have any baggage from previous OS still. Same could apply to win 10 to 11

what are specs of PC?
have you checked you have newest drivers??
if you get similar problems on a clean install, problem may not be windows.
