Start menu not searching

It was fine 2/3 hours ago. I'm trying to go to the Windows Update and Control Panel windows but it's not working, it doesn't search anything. I can type but no results come up.

It sounds silly but did you try restarting the system?

Yap, just done it again and it hasn't worked.

Happened to me as well, searching anything would just be infinitely searching. A restart did it for me though.

That seems irrelevant, wrong OS and different situation.

Nevermind guys, it's so stupid I'm facepalming so hard -.- I disabled Windows Search and somehow forgot I done it. Just went to Services and enabled it again. All good now! So silly of me.
