Start Menu Right Click Issues

When I'm in the start menu in my windows 7 install (dual boot 7 and 10 different ssd's) and I right click a program, I get a TON of options, at least half that Im not interested in and some from software no longer installed. I have send to toys installed and have tried shell:send to but these items dont show up in them. How do I remove these items ?
